Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1793 on the temporary increase of official controls and emergency measures governing the entry into the Union of certain goods from certain third countries were amended on 14 April 2021 by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/806 as follows:

“Article 11” Official certificate

“Each consignment of food and of feed listed in Annex II shall be accompanied by an official certificate in accordance with the model set out in Annex IV (‘official certificate’).”

The foodstuffs concerned are numerous foodstuffs of Chapters 01 to 23 from different countries worldwide, as well as compound food form such as sugar confectionery not containing cocoa (ex CN1704 90) , chocolate and food preparations containing cocoa (ex CN code 1806) and various bakery products (ex CN code 1905), containing any of the individual products listed in the table in point 1 of this Annex due to risk of contamination by aflatoxins in a quantity above 20 % of either a single product or as the sum of products listed.

In Annexes I, II and IIa, in addition to the products of different CN codes, the frequencies of the tests (in percentage) are also given.
