The CMR- Waybill is a waybill related on an international contract concerning the commercial transport of goods on the road
(= french: Convention relative au contrat de transport international de marchandises par route‚ Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road.

On export the CMR-waybill may be used as proof of VAT-free export deliveries. It may be shown at any authority that may be concerned, e.g. the financial department.

In this case the CMR-waybill has to be indicating all important information as e.g. senders name and address, consignees name and address, number and contents as well as gross weight and net weight, possibly HS-code.

The goods recipient or the issuer of the receipt must acknowledge receipt of the goods with the place, date and signature and must be authorized to sign.
