Close to the end of the year, the annexed product list to the regimes were published in Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 428/2009 setting up a Community regime for the control of exports, transfer, brokering and transit of dual-use items given.
It contains changes in almost all categories, which consist in part of the addition of new subheadings and partly of changed vocabularies in the definition of the position in question. Significant changes were made in categories 1, 2, 4 and 9.
The Nuclear Software Note (NSN) is a new note and supersedes the General Software Note (GSN) for Category 0 goods. The NSN does not release “software” that is covered by Cat. 5 of Part 2 (“Information Systems”).
