In connection with the European Hydrogen Forum, the EU Commission published an online guide to public funding programmes on hydrogen on 17 June 2021. The funding compass is aimed at all interested stakeholders, i.e. large companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises.
The guide provides an overview of hydrogen funding programmes and funds on two levels:
- EU funding programmes and funds financed by the long-term EU budget 2021-2027 and NextGenerationEU.
- national funding programmes and available funds at EU country level.
For each EU programme or fund, the Funding Compass highlights key features and provides links where further information can be found. Various filters (e.g. target group SMEs) can be used to narrow down the search results. You can find the Funding Compass here.
