Up to now, Ukrainians in the EU and EU citizens in Ukraine have had to reckon with sometimes high roaming charges when using the mobile network of the respective territory. This could soon be a thing of the past. The EU Commission has accepted the proposal to regulate roaming in the association agreement between Ukraine and the EU. Joining the EU roaming zone is also important against the background of the free trade area (DCFTA), which is to be deepened.
