Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/699 of 3rd May 2022 amending Regulation (EU) 2021/821 removed Russia as a destination from the scope of the Union’s general export authorizations.
Annex II to Regulation (EU) 2021/821 contains eight Union general export authorizations for exports of certain items to certain destinations, subject to certain ancillary provisions and conditions. Previously, Russia was designated as a beneficiary destination in the following three Union general export authorizations:
– EU003 (re-export of goods after repair or replacement in the EU),
– EU004 (Export of goods for trade fairs or exhibitions), and
– EU005 (export of telecommunications equipment).
