On July 1.st 2018, the PRC lowers its tariffs on automobiles from 25% to 15%. Tariffs on trucks fall from 20 to 25% to 15%. Motor vehicle parts will in future be subject to a duty of 6% (previously 10%).

The first 6 digits of tariff numbers are the same worldwide (Harmonized System Code). So far, one can make do with the German commodity index for foreign trade statistics. It is available in chapters on the internet. In the further subdivision there are national differences.
