In the future, Turkey will use the term “Türkiye” in international writing. At the same time, the country asks that “Türkiye” be used in trade documents issued by the EU. This applies, among other things, to proofs of origin and the goods movement certificates A.TR.

Appropriate adjustments are made in forms by the publishers. The uniform use of the name “Türkiye” instead of “Turkey” is strongly recommended for a smooth movement of goods. However, the Turkish authorities admit that they will accept the designation “Turkey” during the transition period. However, it is not yet known how long this period will last.
