On January 11, amendments to Annex I of Regulation (EU) 2021/821 were announced in the Official Journal of the EU. The regulation is commonly referred to as the “dual-use regulation.”
The regulation regulates which dual-use items must be controlled when “exported from the Union, in transit through the Union and when supplied to a third country as a result of brokering activities”, according to the regulation. The updating of the list is foreseen in once a year.
