The updated Combined Nomenclature (CN) will come into force on January 1, 2023. So don’t forget to check your customs tariff numbers.

The combined nomenclature includes customs tariff numbers that are assigned to goods. The list thus forms the basis for the flow of goods between the EU and third countries. At the same time, the KN enables the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) to record the flow of goods statistically.

The EU Commission has published the updated version in the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/1998 on the website of the European Union.
