The eVV (Electronic files assessment decisions) is the digital Swiss customs clearance system. The assessment decisions can be issued and obtained in both paper and electronic formats. Retrieval of the electronic assessment decision is controlled via the applicant’s business identification number (UID) indicated in the import customs declaration or via the centralized settlement procedure (CSP) account.

– eVVZ = electronic customs assessment decision

– eVVM = electronic VAT assessment decision

– eRBZ = electronic customs refund receipt

– eRBM = electronic VAT refund receipt

From 1^st march 2018 on, the electronic assessment system will only be available in digital format. This is meaning for the Swiss importers that they have to necessarily register using their UID to pick up the XML files and archive digital himself.
