Imports of power, work and metalworking machinery as well as machinery, equipment and devices for various purposes doubled to 6.2 billion US dollars (US$) in 2023 compared to 2021.
Uzbekistan is a small but steadily growing sales market for machinery. Hardly any capital goods are manufactured in the country. German suppliers have good sales opportunities.
Value creation in industry is set to double.
