With the Delegated Regulation of 5 September 2024, the EU Commission has initiated the revision of Annex I of Regulation (EU) No. 2021/821 (EU Dual-Use Regulation).
Significant changes start with the DEFINITIONS on ‘charge boosting’, ‘high-performance diesel engines’, ‘insulation’, ‘programme’ through to ‘disclosure of safety gaps’ (editorial change).
All categories are affected by changes, with exception of category 4. change descriptions can be editorial changes, text changes, as well as changes in or to the notes.
This Delegated Regulation is expected to enter into force in November 2024. The preliminary versions can be found in the register of Commission documents on the European Commission’s website.
