{"id":7197,"date":"2025-03-24T11:14:30","date_gmt":"2025-03-24T09:14:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nicola-bernard.de\/?p=7197"},"modified":"2025-03-24T11:16:52","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T09:16:52","slug":"switzerland-new-reporting-platform-for-service-providers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nicola-bernard.de\/en\/switzerland-new-reporting-platform-for-service-providers\/","title":{"rendered":"Switzerland: New reporting platform for service providers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Since 17 March 2025<\/strong>, companies and self-employed service providers from the EU, EFTA and the United Kingdom will be able to use the online reporting platform <strong>EasyGov.swiss<\/strong>. This solution replaces the previous procedure and enables a much more efficient and user-friendly processing of labour assignments in Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>Under the <strong>Agreement on the Free Movement of Persons<\/strong> (AFMP), companies and self-employed persons from the EU\/EFTA can provide their services in Switzerland for <strong>up to 90 working days per year<\/strong> &#8211; a notification is sufficient, no authorisation is required. The 90-day limit <strong>applies to both the company and the persons employed<\/strong>. A permit is required for longer assignments, although there is no entitlement to this.<\/p>\n<p>A notification is also sufficient for <strong>employment in Switzerland<\/strong> with a maximum contract duration of three months. If the employment relationship lasts longer, a <strong>residence or cross-border commuter permit<\/strong> is required.<\/p>\n<p>To use the registration procedure, an account must be opened once and a <strong>company identification number<\/strong> (UID) applied for. It <strong>can take up to 14 days<\/strong> to get the UID. Work assignments must be reported <strong>at least eight days<\/strong> <strong>in advance<\/strong>, or at the latest the day before in the case of short-term employment. The cantonal authorities at the place of employment check the notifications and are available to answer any questions.<\/p>\n<p>The notification procedure <strong>applies to the following groups of persons<\/strong> with employment of up to 90 working days per calendar year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>EU\/EFTA nationals with a job in Switzerland limited to three months.<\/li>\n<li>Posted employees of a company based in the EU\/EFTA (regardless of their nationality). Third-country nationals must have been in possession of a residence card for at least 12 months<\/li>\n<li>Self-employed service providers based in an EU\/EFTA member state.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important<\/strong>: Self-employed service providers must register themselves.
