With the Delegated Regulation of 5 September 2024, the EU Commission has initiated the revision of Annex I of Regulation (EU) No. 2021\/821 (EU Dual-Use Regulation).<\/p>\n

Significant changes start with the DEFINITIONS on \u2018charge boosting\u2019, \u2018high-performance diesel engines\u2019, \u2018insulation\u2019, \u2018programme\u2019 through to \u2018disclosure of safety gaps\u2019 (editorial change).<\/p>\n

All categories are affected by changes, with exception of category 4. change descriptions can be editorial changes, text changes, as well as changes in or to the notes.<\/p>\n

This Delegated Regulation is expected to enter into force in November 2024. The preliminary versions can be found in the register of Commission documents on the European Commission’s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
