The transport and environment ministries have agreed to expand the existing route network for long trucks.<\/p>\n<p>This announcement has long been longed for by many trade associations and businesses. Dirk Binding from the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) points to the CO2 savings, among other things. For the future, he hopes for faster approval of new routes and more planning security for owners of long trucks.
