The EU is the most important trading partner for the landlocked country between Romania and Ukraine. On the part of the European Commission, the new agreement is seen as an important step in further expanding trade without jeopardizing safety standards. In addition, in view of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, it is &#8220;more important than ever,&#8221; writes the commission in its press release of October 28.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does the customs agreement include?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The agreement simplifies customs procedures for both sides. In addition, goods are given preferential treatment at customs clearance. Both will make trade more attractive for both Moldovan and EU companies.<\/p>\n<p>For companies with the status AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) there is also the advantage that this is recognized in Moldova.
