{"id":2202,"date":"2020-06-19T18:28:15","date_gmt":"2020-06-19T16:28:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nicola-bernard.de\/en\/?p=2202"},"modified":"2020-06-19T18:28:15","modified_gmt":"2020-06-19T16:28:15","slug":"eu-creation-of-an-instrument-to-provide-temporary-support-for-reducing-unemployment-risks-in-an-emergency-following-the-covid-19-outbreakeu-creation-of-an-instrument-to-provide-temporary-support-for","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nicola-bernard.de\/en\/eu-creation-of-an-instrument-to-provide-temporary-support-for-reducing-unemployment-risks-in-an-emergency-following-the-covid-19-outbreakeu-creation-of-an-instrument-to-provide-temporary-support-for\/","title":{"rendered":"EU: Creation of an instrument to provide temporary support for reducing unemployment risks in an emergency following the COVID 19 outbreak"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With Council Regulation (EU) 2020\/672 of 19 May 2020, the EU created<br \/>\nInstrument for temporary support to reduce unemployment risks in an emergency (SURE) following the COVID-19 outbreak.<br \/>\nIn order to contain the consequences of the COVID-19 outbreak and the socio-economic impact, this Regulation creates the European Instrument for Temporary Assistance to Reduce Unemployment Risks in an Emergency (SURE), (hereinafter &#8220;Instrument&#8221;).<br \/>\nA Member State may request financial assistance from the Union under the instrument (hereinafter referred to as &#8220;financial assistance&#8221;) if its actual and possibly also its planned public expenditure since 1 February 2020 due to national measures directly related to short-time working arrangements and similar measures the socioeconomic effects of the exceptional situation caused by the COVID 19 outbreak have been suddenly and sharply increased.<br \/>\nFinancial assistance takes the form of a loan granted by the Union to the Member State concerned.<br \/>\nFor more information on the procedure for requesting financial assistance, the availability, disbursement of the loan granted under the instrument, prudential rules , contributions to the Instrument ,guarantees and the maximum payment amount, see the regulation itself <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/HTML\/?uri=CELEX:32020R0672&amp;from=DE\">(OJ L 159\/1 of 20.05.2020)<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With Council Regulation (EU) 2020\/672 of 19 May 2020, the [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2202","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-allgemein-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.4 -
